S.F. attorney named V.P. of national senior living industry association-- Joel Goldman to serve NASLIE in board position through June 30, 1999
Joel Goldman, a senior partner at Hanson, Bridgett, Marcus, Vlahos & Rudy, LLP, was named senior vice president of the National Association for Senior Living Industry Executives. Founded in 1985, NASLIE is a diversified nonprofit association of corporations and professionals serving the mature market. Its membership resides across the United States and throughout seven countries.
As a long time member of NASLIE, Goldman has always been actively involved with promoting the primary goals of the association. NASLIE's top priority is to learn what mature consumers want and how to design and develop products and services to meet those expectations.
"The individuals who constitute NASLIE are extremely accomplished and provide a fresh prospective on consumer resources to the mature market," said Margaret Lynn Duggar, the organization's executive director. "As senior vice president, Joel Goldman will continue to expand his leadership and influence among members of NASLIE."
Goldman, 43, devotes his practice to all areas of retirement housing and healthcare law, including representation of an array of developers and operators of retirement facilities (including assisted living and continuing care retirement communities), physician groups, hospitals and trade associations. He is a 1980 J.D. graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. He will serve as NASLIE Senior Vice President through June 30, 1999.
"As the large numbers of the Baby Boomer generation speed toward 55, understanding what the mature market desires and devising means to meet those needs becomes ever more critical," Goldman said. "I am pleased to be serving with NASLIE, an organization that accepts a leadership position in addressing the needs of those 55 years old and greater."
